Description
Organic Seeds
Lady Finger seeds produce slender, green pods commonly known as okra and are typically planted in late spring after the last frost for a summer and fall harvest. Choose a sunny location with well-drained soil. Prepare the soil by loosening it to a depth of 6-8 inches and adding compost. Plant seeds in rows or mounds, spacing them according to the variety’s instructions, and cover lightly with soil. Keep the soil consistently moist until germination, usually within 7-14 days. Once seedlings emerge, provide support if needed, water regularly, and harvest okra pods when they are young and tender for culinary use.
